Recently I purchased a vehicle from their establishment from 2 of their employees. I paid my last $3k for this car and I am single mother working 2 jobs. Within a week of the purchase the transmission started whinning and it would not go in reverse. I contacted them 2 days later, they said bring it up there. Fast forward I bring it, they "check it out" tell me I have to take it to a transmission shop. I take it to Cottmons they say the transmission is almost gone & roughly its around $8k to repair. I take the car & paperwork back to the sellers (Doug & Shane) whom work at the establishment. They take my car for about 4 to 5 days, do not give me a loaner. I have to lyft to work on both jobs daily. They say they did a transmission flush & bring it BACK in a week so they can do it again. Now my problem is tou are a mechanic shop. You know that car had no hope. Why rob an innocent mother trying to make it in life. I asked could I return the vehicle within the 30 days & I said I did not expect the entire $3k back. I was told my funds was donated so no they could not return my funds but could continue to pretend to work on a car that you knew was trash when it was sold to me. I had no reliable transportation and my ONLY option was to trade that vehicle in with a value of less than $500 & come up with an additional $1500 to finance a vehicle that I cannot afford. How is this fair? How could people live knowing you took money from a family that did not have $3k to throw away. How can you trust a company that allows this to go on? I have all correspondence and I will be taking this a step further. I just thought others she know what I went through and hopefully you don't make the same mistake .
